Greetings from the MISA admin team!
First of all, we would like to extend our best wishes for a happy new year. 2021 was a year of turbulence for everyone; and yet we had opportunities to learn even better and move on. We are so grateful for your continued support and cooperation in your children’s education in this challenging time; and we do look forward to working together in this new year 2022, for the better future of your children – our students.
There are a few things that we would like to bring to your attention.
Blended Learning Options
Education is a multifaceted phenomenon, and we need to consider holistic development of our students, not merely academic achievements. We, in this regard, believe that students’ social and emotional wellbeing is accommodated much better if they are able to see each other and their teachers regularly – when it is possible. Since the onset of COVID-19 in 2020, we have been dreaming of reopening face-to-face classes on-campus, and we believe this time we hope we are able to give them this opportunity.
We have planned to start blended-learning classes from January 10 onwards.
Here is the summary of our plans
.
Primary face-to-face classes are scheduled on Monday and Tuesday.
Each primary class has face-to-face, on-campus classes for one day a week; and they study online for four days a week.
Secondary face-to-face classes are scheduled on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Each secondary class has face-to-face, on-campus classes for two days a week; and they study online for three days a week.
IGCSE and A Levels will have face-to-face, on-campus classes for two days a week; and they study online for three days a week.
The timetable will be sent to your children’s emails and yours for your information.
We are aware that such a blended learning option has various challenges; that we should also remain vigilant in this time of uncertainty; and that we may need to switch back to online learning mode fully in case of any development in security and possibility of COVID-19 recurrences. Nonetheless, we believe that it is worth providing on-campus classes for those students who are willing to and able to join us face-to-face while we can make this happen.
Although we do hope to accommodate all of our students for onsite learning, we understand that some parents may not be able to send their children for various concerns. We have therefore planned to continue supporting fully online options for such parents.
Opening classes on-campus also implies that there will be many extra expenses for the school – from enhancing the internet facilities, running generators when there are blackouts to the fully operational functioning of the school campus. We are therefore not able to offer online discounts to secondary and high school students anymore; and we will inevitably have to reduce the discount for primary classes from 15% to 10%. This is to merely compensate for extra expenses the school will need to provide, and we do anticipate your kind understanding in this regard.
Dress Code
Students do not need to wear uniforms to school; however the following dress code will be adhered to.
Male Students:
Top: Sleeveless shirts and T-shirts with inappropriate writing or pictures are not acceptable.
Bottom: Shorts are not to be shorter than mid-knee length.
Shoes: Tennis shoes or sneakers are acceptable. (No slippers or flip-flops as we do not want any slips or falls in the campus)
Female Students:
Top: Sleeveless blouses, revealing clothing, T-shirts with inappropriate writing or pictures are not acceptable.
Bottom: Dresses and skirts are not to be shorter than mid-knee length.
Shoes: Tennis shoes or sneakers are acceptable. (No slippers, flip-flops, or high heels as we do not want any slips or falls in the campus)
Students who do not meet the required clothing listed above will not be allowed to attend classes that day.
Daily Slips
By sending your child to school for the face-to-face sessions, you are confirming that they comply with the requirements listed in the Daily Slip (attached), which must be used starting from the next week. In case you cannot print it, please write the agreement on a piece of paper and sign it. We will send the hard copies of the slips with your child when they come to the campus on the first day.
Devices
Students may need to bring their devices as they are now used as integral parts of the learning process. Laptop computers are the best option in this regard. And tablets may also be serviceable. Please do not forget to bring the chargers as well. The school will provide internet facilities as needed.
Students are not allowed to use mobile phones during the school hours. Mobile phones are to be submitted to the assistant teacher before the classes start, and they will be returned after school, unless they are needed for a class activity for which they can use mobile phones temporarily under the supervision of the teacher.
Students are not allowed to take photos of any class activities without the teacher’s prior consent if needed for a class project.
Arrival and departure
We are not going to provide any transportation for students for safety reasons. Parents are responsible to bring and pick up their children.
There are different departure times for different levels, so please be sure to check your children’s timetable and kindly arrange the pick up accordingly.
To minimize contact between people and therefore, to reduce the risk of Covid infection, drivers/parents are urged to remain in their cars during arrival and departure as much as possible; and kindly follow drop-and-leave practices.
Classes start at 9:00 am, and students are expected to arrive at school no earlier than 8:30 am and before 8:55 am.
Primary and secondary classes are dismissed at 2:20, and IGCSE and A Levels at 3:10.
For security and safety reasons, parents and guardians are not allowed to go beyond the gate; unless there is a necessary reason to visit the office or meet the teacher, for which a prior appointment is to be made in advance.
Students are not allowed to leave the campus without the parents’ supervision.
For the time being, the school is not able to cater for lunch, and the school canteen is under maintenance. We therefore request parents that students be packed with lunch boxes as well as snacks.
Appointments
We regret that we cannot be as welcoming to our valued parents and guardians as we usually do; as safety must come first. So please contact our office in advance to make appointments prior to your visits, and please do not visit the administration office during arrival and departure periods. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Power Outage
Unfortunately, blackouts have become more frequent in Mandalay/ Myanmar these days. We appreciate your continuous support and taking necessary measures – such as installing an inverter with a battery or running a generator – so that the children’s learning process will not be affected much. Class recordings are shared with students daily, and in case your children cannot attend live classes due to power and internet cuts, they can watch the recordings to make up for their studies.
The school will run its generators in case of power cuts; and will try to reduce the disturbance to the minimum; however a very short period of blackout is inevitable when generators are getting started.

Blended Learning
ပညာရေးသည် ဘက်ပေါင်းစုံမှ စဉ်းစားရသည့် ဖြစ်စဉ်တစ်ခု ဖြစ်ပြီး ကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ ကျောင်းသားများ ပညာရေး အောင်မြင်ရုံမျှသာ မဟုတ်ဘဲ ဘက်စုံ ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်ရေးအတွက် ထည့်သွင်းစဉ်းစားရန် လိုအပ်ပါသည်။ ဖြစ်နိုင်မည်ဆိုလျှင် သူတို့၏ ဆရာများ နှင့် သူတို့ အချင်းချင်း ပုံမှန် တွေ့ဆုံနိုင်ခွင့်ရလျှင် ကျောင်းသားများ၏ လူမှုရေး နှင့် စိတ်ပိုင်းဆိုင်ရာ ပျော်ရွှင်ချမ်းမြေ့မှု ပို၍ကောင်းမွန်မည်ဟု ယုံကြည်ပါသည်။ ၂၀၂၀ခုနှစ်တွင် COVID-19 အစပြုကတည်းက ကျောင်းတွင် face-to-face အတန်းများ ပြန်ဖွင့်ခွင့်ရရန် မျှော်လင့်နေခဲ့ပါသည်။ ယခုအချိန်တွင် ဤအခွင့်အရေးကို ပေးနိုင်ဖို့ရန် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ မျှော်လင့်ပါသည်။
ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ ဇန်နဝါရီ ၁၀ ရက်နေ့မှ စပြီး blended learning အတန်းကို စတင်ရန် စီစဉ်ထားပါသည်။
အောက်တွင် ဖော်ပြထားသည်များမှာ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ အစီအစဉ် အကျဉ်းချုပ် ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
• တနင်္လာနေ့ နှင့် အင်္ဂါနေ့ များတွင် မူလတန်း face-to-face အတန်းများကို စီစဉ်ထားပါသည်။
• မူလတန်း အတန်းတိုင်း face-to-face တစ်ပတ်လျှင် တစ်ရက် ကျောင်းတွင် သင်ကြားရမည်ဖြစ်ပြီး ကျန်လေးရက်မှာ online ဖြင့် သင်ကြားရမည် ဖြစ်သည်။
• ဗုဒ္ဓဟူးနေ့၊ ကြာသပတေးနေ့ နှင့် သောကြာနေ့ များတွင် အလယ်တန်း face-to-face အတန်းများကို စီစဉ်ထားပါသည်။
• အလယ်တန်း အတန်းတိုင်း face-to-face တစ်ပတ်လျှင် နှစ်ရက် ကျောင်းဝင်းအတွင်း သင်ကြားရမည် ဖြစ်ပြီး ကျန်သုံးရက်မှာ online ဖြင့် သင်ကြားရမည် ဖြစ်သည်။
• IGCSE နှင့် A Levels အတန်းတိုင်း face-to-face တစ်ပတ်လျှင် နှစ်ရက် ကျောင်းတွင် သင်ကြားရမည်ဖြစ်ပြီး ကျန်သုံးရက်ကို online ဖြင့် သင်ကြားရမည် ဖြစ်သည်။
အတန်းများ၏ အချိန်ဇယားများကို လူကြီးမင်းတို့နှင့် ကလေးများ၏ email များသို့ မကြာမီ ပို့ပေးမည် ဖြစ်ပါသည်။

Daily Slips
မိဘများအနေဖြင့် ကလေးများကို Face to Face အတန်းများအတွက် ကျောင်းသို့ပို့ရာတွင် ပူးတွဲဖော်ပြထားသော Daily Slips တွင်ပါဝင်သော လိုအပ်ချက်များနှင့် ကိုက်ညီမှုရှိ/မရှိ အတည်ပြုပေးရမည်။ Daily Slips ကိုလာမည့်အပတ်မှစတင် အသုံးပြုရမည်။ မိဘများအနေဖြင့် ပထမဆံးရက်အတွက် print ထုတ်ရန်အဆင်မပြေပါက ကျေးဇူးပြု၍ စာရွက်ပေါ်တွင် သဘောတူညီချက်ရေးပြီး လက်မှတ်ထိုးပေးစေလိုပါသည်။ နောင်ရက်များတွင် အသုံးပြုနိုင်ရေးအတွက် ပထမဆုံးရက်ကျောင်းသို့လာသောအခါတွင် ဤSlipsများကို ကလေးများနှင့်အတူ ထည့်ပေးလိုက်ပါမည်။

ကျောင်းသားများအား ကျောင်းချိန်အတွင်း ဖုန်းအသုံးပြုမှုကို ခွင့်ပြု ထားခြင်းမရှိပါ။ အတန်းချိန် မစတင်မီ ဖုန်းများကို လက်ထောက်ဆရာမများသို့ ပေးထားရမည် ဖြစ်ပြီး အတန်းလှုပ်ရှားမှုများအတွက် လိုအပ်လျှင်လည်း ဆရာမများ၏ ကြီးကြပ်ပေးမှုအောက်တွင် ဖုန်းအသုံးပြုနိုင်ပြီး မလိုအပ်ပါက ကျောင်းဆင်းချိန် ပြန်ပေးမည် ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
အတန်းတွင်း လှုပ်ရှားမှု တစ်ခုအတွက် လိုအပ်သောကြောင့် ဆရာများက ခွင့်ပြုသည်မှအပ ဓါတ်ပုံများရိုက်ခွင့်ကို ကျောင်းသားများအား လုံးဝ ခွင့်ပြုမထားပါ။
ကျောင်းအပို့အကြို
ကျောင်းသားများ၏လုံခြုံရေးအရ ကျောင်းမှ အကြိုအပို့နှင့်ပတ်သက်ပြီး ferry ပံ့ပိုးကူညီမှု မပြုလုပ်နိုင်သေးပါသဖြင့် မိဘများမှ အကြိုအပို့ဆောင်ရွက်ပေးရမည်။ အတန်းဆင်းသည့်အချိန်များ မတူညီကြသောကြောင့် မိမိကလေး၏ အချိန်ဇယားကို သေချာစွာစစ်ဆေးပြီး စနစ်တကျ လာကြိုပေးစေချင်ပါသည်။ အချင်းချင်း ထိတွေ့မှုများ လျော့နည်းစေရန်နှင့် ကိုဗစ်ရောဂါကူးစက်မှုအန္တရာယ် လျှော့ချနိုင်စေရန်အတွက် ကျောင်းပို့ချိန်ကြိုချိန်များတွင် မိဘများနှင့် ကားဆရာများအား ဖြစ်နိုင်လျှင်ကားအတွင်းမှom စောင့်ဆိုင်းပေးပါရန် တိုက်တွန်းလိုပါသည်။
အတန်းများသည် ၉နာရီတွင် စတင်မည်ဖြစ်သည့်အတွက် ကျောင်းသားများအနေဖြင့် မနက် ၈:၃၀ထက်မစောဘဲ ၈:၃၀နှင့် ၈:၅၅ အကြားတွင် လာရောက်ပေးရန် မျှော်လင့်ပါသည်။
မူလတန်းနှင့် အလယ်တန်းအတန်းများသည် ၂:၂၀တွင် အတန်းချိန်ပြီးဆုံးမည်ဖြစ်ပြီး၊ IGCSE နှင့် A Levels အတန်းများသည် ၃:၁၀ တွင် အတန်းချိန်ပြီးဆုံးမည်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
ဘေးကင်းလုံခြုံမှု့အတွက် မိဘများနှင့် အုပ်ထိန်းသူများအား ကျောင်းဝင်းအတွင်းသို့ ဝင်ရောက်ခွင့်မပြုထားသော်လည်း ကျောင်းရုံးခန်းသို့လာရန် (သို့) ဆရာများနှင့်တွေ့ရန် လိုအပ်ပါက ကြိုတင်ချိန်းဆိုမှု့ရယူပြီး လာရောက်နိုင်ပါသည်။
ကျောင်းသားများကိုလည်း မိဘများ၏ ကြီးကြပ်မှုမပါဘဲ ကျောင်းဝင်းအပြင်သို့ ထွက်ခွင့်ပြုမည် မဟုတ်ပါ။
ယခုလတ်တလောအခြေအနေအရ ကျောင်းနေ့လည်စာပြင်ဆင်ကျွေးမွေးရန် အဆင်မပြေသေးသောကြောင့်လည်းကောင်း၊ ကျောင်းတွင့်မုန့်ဆိုင်သည်လည်း ပြင်ဆင်လျက်ရှိ သောကြောင့် ပြန်လည်မဖွင့်နိုင်သေးသောကြောင့်လည်းကောင်း ကျောင်းသားများအတွက် နေ့လည်စာအပြင် အဆာပြေမုန့်များပါ ထုပ်ပိုးပေးဖို့ရန်အတွက် မိဘများအားမေတ္တာရပ်ခံလိုပါသည်။
ကြိုတင်ချိန်းဆိုမှုများ
ယခုအချိန်တွင် လုံခြုံရေးသည် အဓိကကျသောကြောင့် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့အနေဖြင့် မိဘများနှင့် အုပ်ထိန်းသူများကို ယခင်ကဲ့သို့ ကျောင်းဝင်းအတွင်း လက်ခံကြိုဆိုနိုင်ခြင်းမရှိသည့်အတွက် စိတ်မကောင်းဖြစ်ရပါသည်။ ထို့ကြောင့် ကျောင်းသို့မလာခင်တွင် ကြိုတင်ချိန်းဆိုမှုများရယူရန်နှင့် ကျောင်းအပို့အကြိုအချိန်များတွင် ကျောင်းရုံးခန်းသို့မလာရန် တောင်းဆိုရခြင်းဖြစ်ပါသည်။ မိဘများ၏ နားလည်ပေးမှုနှင့် ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်ပေးမှုအတွက် အထူးကျေးဇူးတင်ပါသည်။

Blended Learning
ပညာေရးသည္ ဘက္ေပါင္းစုံမွ စဥ္းစားရသည့္ ျဖစ္စဥ္တစ္ခု ျဖစ္ၿပီး ကၽြန္ုပ္တို႔၏ ေက်ာင္းသားမ်ား ပညာေရး ေအာင္ျမင္႐ုံမၽွသာ မဟုတ္ဘဲ ဘက္စုံ ဖြံ့ၿဖိဳးတိုးတက္ေရးအတြက္ ထည့္သြင္းစဥ္းစားရန္ လိုအပ္ပါသည္။ ျဖစ္နိုင္မည္ဆိုလၽွင္ သူတို႔၏ ဆရာမ်ား ႏွင့္ သူတို႔ အခ်င္းခ်င္း ပုံမွန္ ေတြ႕ဆုံနိုင္ခြင့္ရလၽွင္ ေက်ာင္းသားမ်ား၏ လူမႈေရး ႏွင့္ စိတ္ပိုင္းဆိုင္ရာ ေပ်ာ္ရႊင္ခ်မ္းေျမ့မႈ ပို၍ေကာင္းမြန္မည္ဟု ယုံၾကည္ပါသည္။ ၂၀၂၀ခုႏွစ္တြင္ COVID-19 အစျပဳကတည္းက ေက်ာင္းတြင္ face-to-face အတန္းမ်ား ျပန္ဖြင့္ခြင့္ရရန္ ေမၽွာ္လင့္ေနခဲ့ပါသည္။ ယခုအခ်ိန္တြင္ ဤအခြင့္အေရးကို ေပးနိုင္ဖို႔ရန္ ကၽြန္ုပ္တို႔ ေမၽွာ္လင့္ပါသည္။
ကၽြန္ုပ္တို႔ ဇန္နဝါရီ ၁၀ ရက္ေန႔မွ စၿပီး blended learning အတန္းကို စတင္ရန္ စီစဥ္ထားပါသည္။
ေအာက္တြင္ ေဖာ္ျပထားသည္မ်ားမွာ ကၽြန္ုပ္တို႔၏ အစီအစဥ္ အက်ဥ္းခ်ဳပ္ ျဖစ္ပါသည္။

• မူလတန္း အတန္းတိုင္း face-to-face တစ္ပတ္လၽွင္ တစ္ရက္ ေက်ာင္းတြင္ သင္ၾကားရမည္ျဖစ္ၿပီး က်န္ေလးရက္မွာ online ျဖင့္ သင္ၾကားရမည္ ျဖစ္သည္။
• ဗုဒၶဟူးေန႔၊ ၾကာသပေတးေန႔ ႏွင့္ ေသာၾကာေန႔ မ်ားတြင္ အလယ္တန္း face-to-face အတန္းမ်ားကို စီစဥ္ထားပါသည္။
• အလယ္တန္း အတန္းတိုင္း face-to-face တစ္ပတ္လၽွင္ ႏွစ္ရက္ ေက်ာင္းဝင္းအတြင္း သင္ၾကားရမည္ ျဖစ္ၿပီး က်န္သုံးရက္မွာ online ျဖင့္ သင္ၾကားရမည္ ျဖစ္သည္။
• IGCSE ႏွင့္ A Levels အတန္းတိုင္း face-to-face တစ္ပတ္လၽွင္ ႏွစ္ရက္ ေက်ာင္းတြင္ သင္ၾကားရမည္ျဖစ္ၿပီး က်န္သုံးရက္ကို online ျဖင့္ သင္ၾကားရမည္ ျဖစ္သည္။
အတန္းမ်ား၏ အခ်ိန္ဇယားမ်ားကို လူႀကီးမင္းတို႔ႏွင့္ ကေလးမ်ား၏ email မ်ားသို႔ မၾကာမီ ပို႔ေပးမည္ ျဖစ္ပါသည္။

Daily Slips
မိဘမ်ားအေနျဖင့္ ကေလးမ်ားကို Face to Face အတန္းမ်ားအတြက္ ေက်ာင္းသို႔ပို႔ရာတြင္ ပူးတြဲေဖာ္ျပထားေသာ Daily Slips တြင္ပါဝင္ေသာ လိုအပ္ခ်က္မ်ားႏွင့္ ကိုက္ညီမႈရွိ/မရွိ အတည္ျပဳေပးရမည္။ Daily Slips ကိုလာမည့္အပတ္မွစတင္ အသုံးျပဳရမည္။ မိဘမ်ားအေနျဖင့္ ပထမဆံးရက္အတြက္ print ထုတ္ရန္အဆင္မေျပပါက ေက်းဇူးျပဳ၍ စာရြက္ေပၚတြင္ သေဘာတူညီခ်က္ေရးၿပီး လက္မွတ္ထိုးေပးေစလိုပါသည္။ ေနာင္ရက္မ်ားတြင္ အသုံးျပဳနိုင္ေရးအတြက္ ပထမဆုံးရက္ေက်ာင္းသို႔လာေသာအခါတြင္ ဤSlipsမ်ားကို ကေလးမ်ားႏွင့္အတူ ထည့္ေပးလိုက္ပါမည္။
သင္ေထာက္ကူ အီလက္ထေရာနစ္ ပစၥည္းမ်ား
ေက်ာင္းသားမ်ားသည္ သူတို႔၏ သင္ၾကားေရးႏွင့္ ပတ္သက္သည့္ အသုံးျပဳရမည့္ သင္ေထာက္ကူ အီလက္ထေရာနစ္ ပစၥည္းမ်ား ေက်ာင္းသို႔ ယူေဆာင္လာရန္ လိုမည္ ျဖစ္သည္။ အဆိုပါ ကိစၥႏွင့္ စပ္လ်ဥ္း၍ Laptop computer မ်ားသည္ အေကာင္းဆုံး ေရြးခ်ယ္မႈ ျဖစ္သည္။ အားသြင္းႀကိဳးမ်ားလည္း ယူေဆာင္လာဖို႔ မေမ့ရန္ အသိေပးအပ္ပါသည္။ ေက်ာင္းမွလည္း အင္တာနက္ ကို လိုအပ္သလို ေထာက္ပံ့ေပးပါမည္။
ေက်ာင္းသားမ်ားအား ေက်ာင္းခ်ိန္အတြင္း ဖုန္းအသုံးျပဳမႈကို ခြင့္ျပဳ ထားျခင္းမရွိပါ။ အတန္းခ်ိန္ မစတင္မီ ဖုန္းမ်ားကို လက္ေထာက္ဆရာမမ်ားသို႔ ေပးထားရမည္ ျဖစ္ၿပီး အတန္းလႈပ္ရွားမႈမ်ားအတြက္ လိုအပ္လၽွင္လည္း ဆရာမမ်ား၏ ႀကီးၾကပ္ေပးမႈေအာက္တြင္ ဖုန္းအသုံးျပဳနိုင္ၿပီး မလိုအပ္ပါက ေက်ာင္းဆင္းခ်ိန္ ျပန္ေပးမည္ ျဖစ္ပါသည္။

မူလတန္းႏွင့္ အလယ္တန္းအတန္းမ်ားသည္ ၂:၂၀တြင္ အတန္းခ်ိန္ၿပီးဆုံးမည္ျဖစ္ၿပီး၊ IGCSE ႏွင့္ A Levels အတန္းမ်ားသည္ ၃:၁၀ တြင္ အတန္းခ်ိန္ၿပီးဆုံးမည္ျဖစ္ပါသည္။
