Dear parents,
Mandalay International Science Academy has been renowned for its students’ active participation in international olympiads and winning various awards. We have not been able to send our students to international olympiads since the onset of the COVID-19 global pandemic.
Genius olympiad is an international high school project competition about environmental issues, hosted by the Rochester Institute of Technology, USA. Our school has been participating in GENIUS Olympiads for several times; and one of our graduates – who has now become a teacher at our school – Tr. Richard (a) Tr. Ye Bhone Myat won some medals as well as a scholarship to study in the USA afterwards.
For this year, application will commence on January 15, 2022; and the school is planning to train our students so that they can take part in the olympiad. The Olympiad is open for international high school/ secondary students, and there are various categories students can take part in – such as science, writing, business, art, music and short film.
